Our Kick Start Academy is designed to introduce players U5 and U6 to fundamentals of the game in an enjoyable and engaging environment. Led by our experienced Director of Coaching and ASA Staff, players will learn the basic rules of the game and the fundamental technical skills of the sport through various drills, exercise and game like scenarios.
Program Dates:
6 weeks beginning November 7, 2026 until December 19, 2026. All sessions will be held at the North Amherst Recreation Center, located at 4415 Millersport Highway, East Amherst.
Equipment:
Players will be required to wear soccer shoes, shin guards worn under socks and bring a size #3 soccer ball, as well as a water bottle.
Session Times:
New this session! In an effort to group players more efficiently and support appropriate player development, while maintaining a single, unified curriculum across both age groups.
All U5 players will be grouped in the 9:00am session with a focus on Core Skill Foundations.
All U6 players will be grouped in the 10:00am sesion with a focus on Core Skills + Expanded Game Time.
This will allow us to build a strong foundation for those players new to KSA and build on the foundation skills for those players who are returning to KSA from last season.
