PRECAUTIONS FOR PLAY - SPRING HOUSE LEAGUE AND 6U

REGISTRATION closes 4/25

CLICK ON THE GUIDELINES AND ARTICLES ATTACHED BELOW FOR DETAILS.  THESE ARE REOPENING GUIDELINES FOR SOCCER FROM LAST JULY BUT, ARE STILL IN EFFECT.  WE ARE ATTEMPTING TO GET ANY UPDATES OF SOFTENING INFO AND WILL SHARE IF WE DO.

HOUSE:  Registration is open. Closes 4/25.  Teams will be formed and in about a week posted online with coach, team info and game schedules.  The play dates are listed on the website

What we are doing differently:

  • We will still be following the guidelines provided by NY STATE for MODERATE RISK sports per the attachment below.  ASA is anticpating revised rules soon and guidance from the Town of Amherst on restrictions and conditions of use.  We will try to keep scheduling locations to limit capacity, requiring coaches and congregating parents to wear masks and maintain distancing, reducing sharing of equipment, teaching the children to distance when not active in the games and following all state and local guidelines and US Soccer recommendations to date.  We have had good cooperation and compliance to date outdoor and indoor and appreciate the efforts everyone has made.
  • Games may be staggered to prevent large groups congregating at fields.  At this point, the current rules are only 2 spectators per player allowed.  Distancing on the sidelines.  Masks when not actively playing, distancings and masks arriving and leaving, etc.
  • Please see the attachments Return to Play for more information regarding precaution
  • 6 and Under:  Early registration allows you to choose the Saturday morning session you prefer.  Registration is open until the day we begin.  Refunds will be given for change of mind or situation.  These Saturday morning clinics provide the best option for distancing and activity for the little ones.
