FIRST AMHERST TEAM TO WIN STATE CUP IN 25 YEARS!

Congrats to Trevor Lawler, our coach of both the Thruway League playing boys 2003 and 2004 teams and current head coach at Williamsville South.  Trevor has had much success at ASA and South winning many tournaments and sectional games.

The boys 2003 Reds won State Cup last weekend after winning their first playdown entry game and then beating 3 premier teams to secure the crown.  This is the first Amherst State Cup in approximately 25 years.  During this era of players going to the various premier or pay-to-play teams, it is a credit to Trevor to put together this team, keep it together and take them to this success.  Also congrats to Coach Brendan Lawler and John Netter who have also been with this team and Amherst for many years, including coaching their own teams and goalkeepers.  Coaches like this make our program thrive.
