ADVANCE ACADEMY TRAINING
Third Session Open for Registration

 

Amherst Advanced Technical Training AcademyTraining program designed to supplement and enhance regular travel team training. The academy year will be broken up into three 6-week phases of training. Phase 1 will be November – December. Phase 2 will be January – February and Phase 3 will be March – April/May. The training will consist of one 1-hour session per week during the three phases of the academy year. Focus will be on individual skill development, mastering the basic building blocks of soccer through technical stations and repetition with increasing pressure. Program will be open to all travel players at an affordable rate. Academy sessions will be coached by Director of Coaching, Brendan Murphy and other qualified coaches and trainers.
Amherst Advanced Technical Training Academy will be divided up by age group:
  • Amherst Advanced Junior: U9 – U11—Focus on teaching the actual technique at its most basic level and mastering technique under little pressure.
  • Amherst Advance Intermediate: U12 – U14—Focus on developing technique and building ability to perform under more pressure. Circuit training will be more intense.
  • Amherst Advanced College Bound: U15+ -- Focus on fine tuning technical ability and preparing players to play at the collegiate level. This program will take place on and off the field as players will be guided through the entire process of making themselves marketable prospective college athletes.
 
Keeper Klub: Goalkeeping academy split up into three 6-week phases (November – December, January – February, & March – April/May). This academy will be broken up into three age groups: U8-U11, U12-U14, and U15+. Sessions will be held once per week during each Phase of the program. Open to all travel Goalkeepers and will be coached by Director of Coaching and current Goalkeeper Coach for Division I, Niagara University Mens and Womens teams.
